WORK SCHEDULE:

Your schedule at Divine Expressions Family Dentistry will provide you with a healthy work-life balance. You can choose between two options: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, allowing you to plan your week with ease.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A DENTAL HYGIENIST:

You'll start by preparing your treatment room, ensuring it's clean and sterile for the day's appointments. Your expertise will shine as you perform dental hygiene procedures and exams with precision, ensuring our patients receive top-notch care. Beyond the clinical aspect, you'll serve as an educator, enlightening patients on the crucial importance of dental hygiene and the role it plays in their overall health.

Your warm and friendly demeanor will put our patients at ease, making their visit a positive experience. Collaboration is key, and you'll work closely with our dentist, assisting during procedures to ensure seamless patient care. Your meticulous record-keeping and attention to detail will maintain our high standards!

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS A DENTAL HYGIENIST:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Dental Hygienist License in Alabama
  • Proficiency in operating dental X-ray equipment
  • A deep understanding of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
  • CPR certification

While not required, having at least one year of dental hygiene experience is preferred.
